cross fork deer kill?

curious how this years opening few days went in potter county, i didnt even venture up this year due to the past two on the decline. usually hunt from barrell slide the whole way back to blacksmith.

From my viewpoint you didn't miss much. Not much hanging on the Cross Fork Road from Doe Hill camp to Cross Fork through Wednesday afternoon when I left.
Very little shooting. The (approximately) 15 buck I did see hanging WERE NICE racked as has been the case the past few years. There just aren't enough of them. (I'm sure you haven't heard that before !)
I figure I still hunt pretty steady and give it a fair shake and I only saw 2 total deer for the 2 1/2 days I hunted. Our camp did get 1 8 point out of the 6 guys we had hunting in camp.
