For all those who may be in the Cross Fork area this weekend, there will be a meteor shower happening. It is suppose to be one of the more impressive showers. You should be able to spot as many as 100 per hour. Adding to the appeal is the fact that a new moon falls on Aug. 12th. The peak of the shower will be on Aug. 13 but it should be good for two days before and after this date.
