Can anyone tell me where we can camp during the Snake Hunt? Not interested in State Parks. We like to enjoy a few cold ones while camping. What is going on with Deb's old place? We loved camping there and sure did miss it last year. It wont be long!! Cant wait to get to the mountains.

You might want to check with Forestry, there are several nice places along Rt 144 and Cross Fork Rd. and Forestry dosen't care if you drink a few cold ones.

Quiet Oaks is nice and their sites for tent camping are very reasonable. The only problem I have ever had there was with some folks who seemed to forget that there are other people in the campground: VERY loud music at 3:30 AM, horseshoe pitching at 4:30 AM etc.
Everyone wants to have fun while they are camping, but we all need to remember to be considerate of the others so that we all can enjoy our time in the mountains.
